Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss to wear Claire Pettibone wedding dress
Elisabeth Moss seems to favor a vintage look for her wedding gown, having selected a designer whose creations would not look out of place on Moss' show Mad Men.
The actress told People.com she has chosen a Claire Pettibonewedding gown for her upcoming nuptials with Saturday Night Live comic Fred Armisen.
"It was actually the only and first designer I ever wanted," she explained. "I just thought [the dresses] were really beautiful."
Pettibone, who is also a lingerie designer, is known for using subtle accents of champagne hues and antique lace in her ethereal creations. She has said she is inspired by vintage fabrics and classic feminine beauty.
Moss also told People that she and Armisen are sharing in the wedding planning process - and, luckily, they agree on all the details.
Both want a simple ceremony and are planning on a "medium-sized" event. The couple is also sharing a few ideas with Moss' Mad Men costar, Christina Hendricks, who is also set to tie the knot soon.
