If you like your wedding gowns more eclectic than classic, you may enjoy Vera Wang's Spring 2010 Bridal collection, which contains a little bit of everything and doesn't hold back.

Wang describes her new collection of wedding dresses as taking a "mixed-media" approach, full of layers, ruffles and bows that defy simple lines.

The gowns presented in the designer's New York showroom on Wednesday also took advantage of the contrast of mismatched fabrics such as silk and tulle, according to Fashion Wire Daily, which likened one creation to "a walking cross-section of the Grand Canyon."

"It's as though they were tossed in a washing machine," Wang explained, as quoted by the website. "They're youthful and more organic than most gowns."

Even if the all-mixed-up look is not your thing, a new recession-minded pricing scheme means you may want to take a second look at what Wang has to offer.

The designer told Fashion Wire Daily she has cut the median price on gowns by 30 to 40 percent - meaning 2010 could be your chance to join celebs such as Jennifer Garner and Victoria Beckham and say, "Why yes, my wedding gown is by Vera Wang."
