Famed designer Carolina Herrera sought to channel the spirit of famous painters with her Spring 2010 collection, which she debuted at New York's Bridal Market.

Artists serving as an inspiration for the range included masters such as Boticelli, Renoir, Klimt, Van Gogh and Manet, according to MarieClaire.com.

And each wedding gown boasted accents reminiscent of the painter's work, such as gold patterns on the Klimt dress and hand-painted water lilies on the Monet gown, Fashion Week Daily reports.

Similarly, the Goya-inspired dress featured an unusual Spanish-style lace bolero jacket, while the Seurat gown took pointillism as its starting point with a polka-dotted theme.

Pretty high-brow, right? Well, there was also a bit of bling thrown in for good measure. Since the runway show took place at Tiffany & Co on Fifth Avenue, the models were bedecked with an assortment of diamond earrings, necklaces and rings.

Although Carolina Herrera has boasted a number of high-profile fans for years, her wedding dresses gained widespread attention in 2005 when Renee Zellweger wore an elegant, strapless off-white gown to tie the knot with country singer Kenny Chesney.
